On golf courses, in elementary schools and at other youth centers, they’ve helped shape the lives of young people from all walks of life by teaching them values like integrity, respect and perseverance. More than a junior golf program, golf and life lessons are seamlessly incorporated into each lesson to help young people prepare for success both on and off the golf course.

Wells Fargo Championship logo
The Wells Fargo Championship is a PGA TOUR golf tournament held at Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte, North Carolina and scheduled for April 29-May 6, 2019. Last year, 54-hole leader Jason Day won by two strokes over 21-year-old Aaron Wise and five-time PGA TOUR winner Nick Watney. Day joined an elite list of champions that include Rory McIlroy, Rickie Fowler, Jim Furyk, Tiger Woods, Lucas Glover and Vijay Singh. Wells Fargo is proud to have sponsored the tournament since it began in 2003.

Over the past 16 years, Champions for Education has contributed over $22 million for charitable causes as well as awareness for numerous local non-profit organizations. In 2018, Champions for Education donated more than $1.5 million to over 22 organizations including The First Tee of Greater Charlotte.
